CAZ Bears by Carol Casey

Carol's bear making started quite by accident when she accompanied her sister to a beginners' class in 1995. Carol has always loved all forms of sewing. The combination of a needle and thread with the ability to create something with character and charm had her hooked from the first moment. From her first designs, Carol's bears have always been 'different'. This could be attributed to the fact that she's not shy to experiment - she will dye, paint, distress and in any way imaginable alter the fabrics that she makes her bears from. Carol's style of bear making is also distinctly modern. She has won numerous international bear making awards and her range of patterns continue to hold bear makers in thrall. At present Carol is taking a break from bear making to pursue other interests. We are honoured to be able to continue offering her patterns through Tin Soldiers Studio.
