Cloth Characters by Nerina Roberts
Nerina has been designing dolls, bears and animals since the 1970s. She has won many awards over the years, and has published two books about toy making. In the 1990s she opened a teddy bear shop in Gauteng and became an importer of mohair fabric to make up her designs. After more than a decade as a shop owner and bear maker of fame, Nerina recently moved to Gordon's Bay, where she is rekindling her first love - making a variety of funky characters from readily available materials. On this page you will find some of Nerina's old favourites, as well as recent additions.

Bear in a Boot's snug little bed is 20cm long. The bear has been designed to fit inside comfortably. Both bear and boot are made from felt.
