Studio 70 by Loris Hancock

At Tin Soldiers we stock a wide range of kits and patterns by various designers. On this page you will find designs by Australian artist Loris Hancock. Loris has been a bear maker since 1988. She specializes in miniature bears, and has a strong leaning towards nature and realistic animals. Loris' work has been featured in many books and magazines, she has travelled the world and won many prestigious awards.

Alexi Crouching	7cm (2") all fours mohair bear with separate snout. All limbs split pin jointed. Pattern: R 89		Berry Baby	16cm (6") bear with separate snout. Includes needle sculpting and instructions for suede tongue and nose. Pattern: R 89
Black Bear Cub	12cm (5") fully jointed bear with separate snout. Includes instructions for armature. Pattern: R 89		Chocolate Chip	17cm (6") bunny in two colours. Fully jointed. Includes instructions for whiskers and shading with pens/pencils. Pattern: R 89
Courting Frog	14cm (5") frog featuring a wired body and lots of needle sculpting. Pattern for outfit included. Pattern: R 89		Formal Golly	14cm (5") traditional style golly with a nose. Combined split pin and string jointing. Pattern: R 89
Frederick Frog	14cm (5") realistic frog with internal wiring, needle sculpting and lots of detail added with pen/pencils. Pattern: R 89		Fudge	13cm (5") jointed rabbit with waistcoat. Pattern: R 89
Gumnut and Bilby	12cm (5") bear with his tiny bilby. Gumnut has a separate snout and requires needle sculpting, is fully jointed. Bilby has a wired unjointed body. Pattern: R 89		Happy Harry	14.5cm (5') bear with separate snout and open mouth. Split pin jointed. Pattern: R 89
Kenny Koala	7cm (3') koala with string joints. Pattern: R 89		Klondike	18cm (7") long by 10cm (4") high realistic bear with separate snout and armatures. Pattern: R 89
Mushrooms	Mushrooms of the variety Amanita and Coprinus in five styles. Sizes range from 7cm to 15cm. Use your imagination to make mushrooms in lots of colours and stages of maturity! Pattern: R 89		Realistic Panda	20cm (8") realistic panda. Fully jointed. Pattern: R 89
Penguin Family	9cm (3 1/2") Penguins with a chick. Unjointed with inner armature. Pattern: R 89		Rodney Rodent	13cm (5") Rodent with wired paws and tail. Instructions include needle sculpting and colouring with pens/pencils. Pattern: R 89
