Inga is a Scandinavian name, meaning 'beautiful'.
Inga is a 10 cm bear made from Loubear mohair. I distressed the mohair to give her a slightly old and tatty look, and gave her wobbly joints to make her floppy and pose-able. She feels just right when she sits in the palm of your hand. The crotchet lace used to make the dress I found in the bargain bin of a very dusty sewing shop. I guess that makes it vintage... :-)
The pattern for Inga consists of a cover with colour photo, neat and accurate pattern page with layout guide, eight pages of instructions with lots of diagrams, and includes instructions on distressing mohair. The back of the cover lists the material requirements to make the bear.
The pattern is available as an A5 format booklet, or can be emailed as an E-Pattern in PDF format.
Inga also looks good 'in the fur'!Material requirements to make Inga:
1/32m short pile mohair 3mm Black glass eyes 10mm discs with round head split pins No 12 black nose embroidery thread
Inga is a suitable project for advanced bear makers.
