We spent fruitful time at HobbyX the last few days meeting wonderful people and introducing them to Pardo, a great new polymer clay from Germany. We will have the clay listed for sale on our website soon. In the meantime, great courses are presented at Tin Soldiers over the next few days. Hazel will be teacing her special beading and embroidery techniques in the Irish cottage, and Megan teaches teddy bear making at Cape cottage. We will be sending out an email with a workshop schedule to everyone on the mailing list tomorrow. If you would like to join our mailing list, contact Megan, she will add you in.10 February
Here's the Valentine Bear at last. Her name is Lucy, all accessories are included in the workshop.
If you missed the classes last weekend, don't despair. There are a few kits still available, and we have decided to make the kits available in the Special Teddy Bear Workshop. You will find more information on the Workshops Page. Email me if you would like to attend.
Other events to look forward to - the Tin Soldiers Mini Sale on 27 February, Polymer Clay Workhsop on 27 February, HobbyX from 4 to 7 March, Beading with Hazel on 12 and 13 March, Teddy Bear Making on 13 and 14 March. More information on the Events Page.

I was in the final throes of accessorizing the Valentine bear when I was overcome with an urge to drop everything and make polymer clay monsters. Bad, Bad, BAD!
Other exciting news is that Hazel from Daaft Designs will be teaching beading and embroidery in the Irish Cottage on 12 and 13 March. Will post details of that soon.10 January
And now let us welcome the New Year.
Full of things that have never been.
I wish you a prosperous year, emotionally, materially, and especially creatively.
Please read the first Newsletter for 2010, and check the workshop dates on the Calendar page. I will have more news soon.
Preliminary workshop dates are up on the Events and Newsletter page.

If you have been browsing on the Tin Soldiers site you will have noticed that the entire website is under construction. I am busy pushing up one mean anthill here! To make it easier to see on which parts I worked last, I will regularly put a short list of links on this page.
